Where community comes to life

JPVIS is a membership organization that recognizes as “members” all households or individuals paying membership fees during any summer season. Members may join on a seasonal or weekly basis. 

Seasonal and weekly cottage family memberships cover all family members residing in one domicile and do not extend the benefits of membership to renters. Renters may become members on a weekly or seasonal basis.

JPVIS members enjoy access to the beach and docks, community house, and other amenities. Events for members include an annual Island Day, Chowder Cookoff, lecture series, exercise classes, ladies’ luncheons, and weekly junior programs.Members wishing to use the tennis courts must pay an additional tennis fee. Tennis members enjoy access to four clay courts, weekly round robin play, interclub matches, club tournament and tennis socials. All fees and dues should be paid prior to accessing the amenities and courts.

All children who wish to play tennis must pay the tennis fees applicable to their age group unless covered by a cottage family tennis membership. Juniors under the age of 18 who are not members by affiliation with a household membership may become ”junior members.”

Adult and junior tennis clinics are offered at an additional fee, paid to the Tennis Director. 

Family or individual members who have not paid weekly or seasonal tennis fees and non-members of JPVIS may use the courts and participate in clinics by paying a daily guest fee and any associated program fees.

You will need to choose a duration for you and/or your family's membership first. After that, you will be able to add additional options such as tennis privileges, dinghy fees and the like. After all your selections have been made, you will be able to pay online or choose to be invoiced by email. You may send a check by mail if you prefer.
