The Rendezvous Cottage

Built in 1905, this classic shingle style Maine cottage is located on Juniper Point and offers water views, modern amenities (wireless internet, smart tv, dvd player, and washer/dryer), and a fully equipped kitchen. Our family friendly cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests; offering 4 bedrooms (all on second floor: 1 queen, 1 full, 4 twins) and 2 full bathrooms (1 up w/claw foot tub and 1 down with shower). This spacious home is comfortably furnished and offers a cozy dining room, living room with fireplace, a farmers porch with rocking chairs, a screened porch perfect for cocktail hour, a deck with gas grill and dining for 4, perennial gardens and a backyard. Parking for 2 cars only. Rental agreement required with full payment. To maximize your stay, guests are encouraged to attain a JPVIS "Renter Membership." 


The Osprey

This renovated classic 1940’s shingled Maine summer cottage is bright and cheerful throughout--like a page from 'House and Gardens' magazine. Furnishings are in the Maine cottage style, and the gourmet kitchen has been updated with all new appliances for the 2019 season. First floor has a single bunk bedroom suitable for children and shower bath, second floor has three bedrooms--two with queen size beds and one with twin beds-- and bathroom with a claw foot tub. Downstairs bathroom completely renovated and expanded in 2019 with all new fixtures, tile, and front loading washer and dryer. Mattresses on all upstairs bedrooms are new within the last year

Enjoy ocean views through a wall of windows looking out across an open field or from the master bedroom. Great outdoor living spaces-- with a large deck that overlooks a completely private lawn--perfect for games--and includes updated furniture and barbecue. Eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with stunning views into the surrounding two acres of woods.

Great place for kids who delight with playing field out-front, 'secret' forts in the woods, and looking for treasures on the rocks and beaches. Steps away from the Juniper Point community house, four clay tennis courts, boat dock and beach. This cottage has heat and a woodburning fireplace, so would be a good choice for the off season (May, June, September, October). New Anderson 400 windows (in 2019 ) help keep the cold out, and the warmth in.


The Osprey cottage is kept bright and fresh through frequent upgrades and repairs. Key upgrades for 2019 include replacing older style windows throughout, new kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher) and updating the downstairs bathroom and laundry.

The Upper Cottage

This charming family oriented cottage is ideal for families looking for a relatively inexpensive way to enjoy a few weeks on the Maine coastline in Boothbay Harbor. The house is a 4 bedroom; two bath well maintained summer cottage nestled in the woods with a partial view of the water and a great deck. The house has all the comforts of home in a post and beam great room setting, is close to tennis courts and the local community house, and shares a dock for direct water access.

Andrews Cottages

Nestled in Hahn Cove on McKown Point, the Andrews cottages offer ocean and island views, a tranquil atmosphere, and rustic charm. With an expansive lawn for playing, and direct access to a wonderful low tide beach, our cottages are the perfect place for your summer retreat. The property consists of two unique cottages, each with its own distinctive appeal, that are close to each other yet far enough away to provide privacy. Rent one for a more intimate family getaway or both to accommodate extra-large families or to share with friends!

With five bedrooms and two baths, the Big Cottage can comfortably sleep up to ten people. Whether relaxing in front of a fire in the fieldstone fireplace or enjoying a book on the side screened-in porch, the Big Cottage offers picturesque views of the ocean. Set back a bit the Little Cottage, with its two bedrooms and one bath, also boasts beach access and a partial ocean view, while providing a quaint and intimate space for smaller families.

Both cottages have a washer/dryer, WiFi, and TV with cable. Family owned and managed for five generations.

Cliff House, surrounded by ocean on a point at the end of Massachusetts Road, sits among perennial gardens atop a gentle hill with stunning views. Surrounded on three sides by open ocean and Townsend Gut, the location provides privacy and a window on the world of Maine boating from the great room, the 2nd floor master suite, the wraparound porch and most every window in this charming, fully renovated cottage. Part of the Juniper Point summer colony, which includes a dock and tennis courts (with reasonable short-term memberships), Cliff House has three bedrooms sleeping six, including a panoramic 2nd floor with walk-in closet, tub, shower and a writing area and 2 comfortable first floor bedrooms, as well as a new, fully equipped kitchen and 2.5 updated baths. Comes with a gas grill, washer and dryer, parking for 2 cars and WIFI among other amenities.  This cottage has heat so is a good choice from May to October.

Gathering Point Cottage

This charming Maine style cottage sits on McKown Point just before the aquarium.  It features one floor living with an open living room/dining room which has a cathedral ceiling and sliding french doors opening to decks on both front and back capturing both morning and afternoon sun. A perfect place for family memories, Gathering Point Cottage has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Sit out front and watch the boat traffic come and go from the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club. A wooden fence bordering the street offers privacy, and a lawn out back allows for activities.  It's a one minute walk to to the Maine State Aquarium and a 15 minute walk to JPVIS beach and community house. The picnic area at the aquarium overlooking the harbor is a great place to bring appetizers and watch the sunset. A wonderful fishing pier is located just behind the aquarium along with a boat launch, a convenience if you would like to bring your kayak!


Juniper Cottage

Bee Hive Cottage

The “Bee Hive” is a beloved family home on Juniper Point. As its name indicates it has been the gathering point for many years of family events and activities.  Built in 1915-1916 by the current owner’s grandparents, it has remained in the family. There is no better place to be than relaxing on the deck overlooking the ocean or watching the boats coming and going in the Townsend Gut. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, inside and outside. 

Juniper Point is a warm, inviting family location with lots of activities, great place for kids to play in the open field, roam the woods and explore the beach in front of the cottage. Within walking distance to the Juniper Point Community House with access to four clay tennis courts, boat dock with swimming ladder and beach. Golf is nearby at the Boothbay Country Club. The cottage has heat and a wood burning fireplace, a good choice for early and late season.

The Bee Hive has five bedrooms, sleeps up to 10, 2 baths and fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has heat and a wood burning fireplace, a good choice for early and late season. Amenities include a gas grill, washer and dryer, parking for 2 cars and WIFI.

STUART LITTLE COTTAGE

Stuart Little provides a wonderful place to slow down and just breathe.  It's a perfect cottage for making summer memories. With five bedrooms and two baths, it is perfect for a large family or group.  The bright and spacious living/dining room offers plenty of seating and is an excellent place to gather. The large well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher is ideal for serving up a seafood feast.   An enclosed back porch makes a nice playroom for the kids.  The covered front porch with both water and garden views is an enchanting place to enjoy a cocktail or read a good book. It's a one minute walk down the path of stone steps and across the field to the beach where you can revel in sea glass hunting or enjoy a swim out to the community float.  Four beautiful association clay tennis courts are available for use.*

There's something special about coastal summer communities in Maine.  Little paths wind through evergreens to connect cottages and the sea. The Community House is a hub for kids to meet with ping pong and board games providing the kind of step back in time entertainment that conjures up nostalgia of a simpler time.  The Maine State Aquarium is a 15 minute walk down the road and a delightful place to explore with a 10' touch tank. Walk around to the back of the aquarium and discover a great fishing pier for your use.  Downtown Boothbay Harbor is a quick 2 miles away.
